One of the most crucial elements to rebuilding Provo's older neighborhoods is our local Neighborhood Housing Services. This organization is a highly effective tool at what all of us want--better neighborhoods for Provo. It rehabs older houses, builds new ones, and supports neighborhoods in their efforts to improve themselves. Projects like Pride in Provo, and Paint Your Heart Out wouldn't happen without them.
Midge Johnson has been dedicated to supporting NHS during her Term, and for that I am truly grateful. She understands their mission, and the benefits offered by their work. She has voted for their projects, and for adequate funding of neighborhood revitalization. I'm grateful for that support and her willingness to play a role in helping our local NHS.

I first met Midge Johnson 4 years ago when we as a neighborhood in the Provost area decided to replace the park equipment at the Neighborhood Park. She was a great asset to me since I had no real experience with such an undertaking. Next she asked me to be a part of the “Pride in Provo” project as a committee member. I loved working on Pride in Provo with her. What a fantastic improvement it made to our little neighborhood. Recently another grant is in place to replace the existing fence at that same park and she has once again been the help that we have needed.
I have seen her dedication first hand I know she loves Provo and I know that she not only cares about the neighborhoods in Provo but the people individually. I love the fact that a Provo City Council Member is solely dedicated to the best interests in Provo. I know that she represents my ideals and wants what is best for me and my family and my neighbors.
